INCA HOLIDAYS keeps you in safe hands during the whole trip.
For Inca Holidays, the welfare and safety of our customers and staff are our top priority. We have taken seminars from travel experts, Quito Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism in Ecuador on the Covid-19 protocols and safety measures.
Our main challenge at the moment is to continue offering our custom design tours to experience the soul of our country while preventing the spread of Covid-19. It is a collective effort therefore we have chosen to work with suppliers who are as committed as we are to offering a safe experience for everyone.
At the moment, these are the requirements from the Ecuadorian government:
- Airlines will check travelers have a negative PCR COVID-19 test certificate taken within 10 days of their arrival date in Ecuador before embarking for their flight(s). Travelers without the correct certificate will be denied boarding.
- Travelers must fill out a health status and contact information form.
- Upon arrival at airports in Ecuador, the Ministry of Health will carry out random, rapid antigen tests on passengers over 14. In the case of a positive antigen test, travelers will be required to isolate for 10 days at their own expense in government-approved accommodation.
- Health officials will also check travelers’ COVID-19-related symptoms and carry out antigen tests on them, if necessary.
Notice that a few countries have introduced a requirement that travelers who return home need to show proof of negative Covid-19 test result taken within the previous days. Inca Holidays will assist you coordinating tests and results.
The protocols and travel conditions at the moment are constantly changing, so please contact us for the most up-to-date information.
